In December -07 the first block of the mission school ended. 12 students have been studying and now some of them are on their practice while others will go through their practice during the summer.

Two of the students, started to travel to a village not far away from the city of Artum in Primorskiy Kray to take care of a church. They are traveling there once a week to preach and fellowship with the church members.

One woman, Valentina, thought in the beginning that she will go to Makao but God started to speak about her about the village Yaruslavka. We asked the pastor in this village if she could come and help them during her practice and she (the pastor is a woman) became so happy. This church is a very lively church, they have started a rehab for alcoholics and they have also planted a new church in the city of Khorol. Valentina, will probably stay there even after two months of practice.

Eduard, who has been working with us already for 2 years is in China right now. He is a Russian Korean and he has felt that God has called him to NK. As a miracle we got hold of an organization that is working with humanitarian aid to NK and asked if they were in need of some help. Eduard is a carpenter, and they were happy to receive him. They have asked him to stay and work with them after his practice.

Two women from the school have felt the calling to go to the border city to serve as a bridge between the Russian and the Chinese Christians. Every week Russian Christians are traveling to China to do business or just tourism and many times they hide precious "books" in their bag or under their clothes. These women will coordinate this work and see to it that these gifts will come to the right people.

We are very thankful to God for everything that He has done through this mission school. We have had 3 schools and of those that have been studying some are today working as; pastors, church workers, youth leaders, journalists, working in rehabs and some are working as missionaries in a foreign country.

God was speaking very clearly to us several years ago that He wants us to train missionaries and show them the calling they have and help them to come into that calling. Now, we feel that God has told us to not have any school this year because we need to focus on China. Of course, God has not taken away our vision of training Russian missionaries but there are certain times when we need to do certain things. This is such a time, when we believe that God will do something great in China and we don't want to loose the opportunity.
