During two weeks Jan and Patrick have been traveling with a Chinese pastor in three cities in China.

It has been a tremendous trip and we have seen God doing many things and here you can read some of the testimonies.

A man who is 29 years old told us that when he was 19 years old he moved alone to a city far north in China to start a work there. Now, this work has 60 churches with probably 2400 believers.

A 19 year old (or young) woman told us that when she was 18 years old she left her home city and province and now she is pastor in a church in another city in China. She was so full of Jesus and so brave. Imagine how devoted she is to her God. But we understand that she is also going through a lot of hard things. As a leader in a church she meets a lot of difficulties. She has to sit and give advises to couples with marriage problems and while she herself is not married yet. She must give help to people that is much older than she. 

Many of these missionaries/leaders met Jesus during these days. Some of them were baptized in the Spirit while others got a renewed prayer language. In one city we prayed for some older ladies that came from the church to listen to the teaching. They wanted us to pray for healing and the day after they testified that everyone received their healing!

Some of these heroes are preparing themselves to go to other nations to preach the Gospel. Some of them believe that God has called them to the Muslim world. One of the leaders had been studying in a mission school with the focus on the Muslims.

They are doing a fantastic work in the city and provinces where they are working. Of course there are cities and villages which are more difficult than others. Some of them have difficulties financially. But they are never murmuring. Their home church supplies a family with 1000 yuan. These money shall cover; rent, trips, food and clothes. For them this is not so great sacrifice because they know that the sacrifice Jesus did for them is much more great. I remember a song Ulf Christiansson wrote "I give myself now. I lay it down and give it to You. Everything I have, I give to You. You are my life, You are my Rock, You are the most precious Gift I can find...You are my Salvation, my heart belongs to You...Whom should I follow if I didn't have You? There are no sacrifice to great for me to do for You. I have only one thing in this life, to follow You, walk with You, live for You, love You Jesus. I love You Jesus."

It was a fantastic trip that didn't only change the people we met but also us.
